Why can't I play some WMA files? Make sure that you are not coding the WMA files with DRM.

Why can't I display my .jpg files? Many digital cameras and image edition software add hidden data to the .jpg files. This data can prevent your MP5 from loading the images. Try to eliminate them by saving the file with another name.

Why can't I see the image, video or text files while using the music browser? You will only see the files in memory associated to the browsing you are doing (music files for Music, image files for Photo, etc…) To view all the files in memory at once, click the EXTRAS icon and choose the "Browser" option.

My player doesn't power on and/or my computer doesn't detect it, what can I do? Probably there is a problem with the firmware. Download the appropriate firmware file for your model and serial number, and follow the firmware installation instructions.

Why can't I play some MP3 files? It's recommended that the MP3 file is compressed along some standards like MPEG1/MPEG2/ MPEG 2.5 layer 3. Otherwise, the file must be converted using a software application.

The FM-Transmitter has too short range. Keep in mind that the earphones act as antenna to improve both FM transmission and reception. Check out the FM-TRANSMITTER section of the users manual to make a good use of this function.

My MP5 is not storing the brightness level or the last song played. What gives? As long as the player is turned ON/OFF with the slide button, all the parameters are saved. However for example if the battery runs out then the latest values modified as not stored. Additionally, running the "Refresh" option at the Music menu empties the list of the 3 last played songs.

What's the playback time of the player? It varies greatly depending on the playback conditions, such as earphones or speaker, or screen turned on or off, and its brightness. The estimated playback time of the player is 6 hours of music playback, 5 hours of music playback with FM-Transmitter activated and 2 and a half hours of video playback.

What is the maximum capacity for the Micro-SDHC expansion slot? 32GB memory.
