Differences between MP3 and MP4 players?
Since many of you have asked us about this topic, we have decided to write this article to explain the main differences between MP3 and MP4. Let's have a look!

It is quite simple. The most important thing you should know is that MP3 format is intended for music and MP4 is intended for videos. Ta-da!

If we go into detail, we can highlight that MP3 is a compressed audio format that is able to reduce the size of the original file without any quality loss. Uncompressed audio files, such as WAV and similar, take too much space and it becomes necessary to compress them. On one hand, MP3 players cannot play video contents because they only support audio formats.

On the other hand, MP4 is not only a video format, but a file type that contains both audio and video tracks. Therefore, video and music files may be played.

As a conclusion, if you are wondering whether you should buy a MP3 or a MP4 player, the first thing you must bear in mind is if you just want to listen to music or watch videos as well on your media player.

And that's all! If you have any doubts about this topic or another one, we will be glad to help you out! You can leave a comment below.
