  • Before you start using your Clock Speaker Speaker 2 Bluetooth we strongly recommend reading this manual to get used to it.


Care and maintenance

  • Do not expose your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth to impacts, dust, humidity or high temperatures.
  • Use neither corrosive nor abrasive cleaning products.
  • Do not disassemble the device. All repair works should be carried out exclusively by qualified staff of Energy Sistem Technology, S.A.
  • Please make sure your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth is off when you are not using it. Do not store the device with an empty battery for long periods.

Main Functions

Switching on and off the device

To switch on or off the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth, press the On/Off (1) button. The screen will light up or turn off. At this point, you will also hear a confirmation sound.


Playback modes

Once the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth is on, you can choose the playback mode you prefer. To do so, press Playback mode (2) repeatedly until finding the preferred playback mode. Playback modes will appear in the following order:

Clock --> Alarm 1 --> Alarm 2 --> Bluetooth --> USB --> SD --> FM Radio


Playback control

Select a playback mode and you will be able to control all playback functions from your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth.

Press Play/Pause/Calls (4) to play or pause a song. If you plug a USB stick or an SD card, press and hold the very same button for 2 seconds to enable or disable shuffle mode.

Press Volume +/Volume - (6) to adjust the volume level according to your preferences.

Press Back (3) or Next (5) to skip to the previous or next song. If you plug a USB stick or an SD card, press and hold the very same buttons for 2 seconds to skip to the previous or next folder.


Clock and alarms

Clock

To set the time and date on the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth, enable clock mode. To do so, press and hold Playback mode (2) for two seconds. The device will enter setup mode immediately and you will see the time (hours) flashing. If you press the same button repeatedly, you will cycle through the minutes, year, day and month. When selecting a parameter, it will blink. You can adjust it by turning the Playback mode (2) knob to the right or to the left. Once the time and date are set, press and hold Playback mode (2) to save changes and return to clock mode.

Important: After 30 seconds without performing any action, the device will exit setup and return to clock mode. Changes will be saved.

Alarms

Your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth allows you to set 2 alarms separately. To set an alarm, press repeatedly Playback mode (2) until finding alarm 1 and/or 2. A clock symbol with the corresponding number, 1 and/or 2, will appear on screen.

Select the preferred alarm number and press and hold Playback mode (2) for 2 seconds. The device will enter setup mode. You will see ?ON? or ?OFF? on screen, depending on whether the selected alarm is activated or not. Turn the Playback mode (2) knob to the right or to the left to activate/deactivate the alarm. Press Playback mode (2) once to save changes and continue with the setup process. You will see the hour flashing. To select the preferred hour, turn the Playback mode (2) knob to the left or to the right. Press the knob once to save changes. Repeat the steps above to set the minutes.

Once the time is set, you can select the alarm sound. The Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth features 5 options: S1, S2 and S3, which are three alarm sounds that come by default; S4, music stored on removable SD cards or USB sticks and S5, which allows you to wake up to the radio. If you select the fifth option, you will wake up to the sound of the selected radio station.

Press and hold Playback mode (2) for two seconds to save changes and exit setup. If one or both alarms are activated, the corresponding alarm symbols 1 and/or 2 will be displayed permanently on screen. This way, you will know if the alarm or alarms are activated or not.

When the alarm sounds at the set time, the volume will increase gradually for approximately 2 minutes until reaching the maximum volume. Press Play/Pause/Calls (4) to turn off the alarm. To doze for 5 more minutes, press Snooze (7). If you do not press any button, the alarm will repeat every 5 minutes, up to 4 times. The alarm sounds once again the next day, regardless of the performed action.

Important: If an alarm is activated when you switch off the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth, it will sound at the set time. If you do not want to hear it, we recommend deactivating it.


Bluetooth (BT)

To pair your speaker with a Bluetooth device, press Playback mode (2) until Bluetooth mode is enabled. At this point, the Bluetooth symbol flashes on screen. You will also hear a sound confirming the speaker has entered search mode.

Access the Bluetooth settings on your device and search for Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth among the detected devices. Select it to establish the connection. You will hear a sound confirming both devices are correctly paired. At this point, the Bluetooth symbol is displayed permanently on screen.

Your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth pairs with the source device automatically when turning on the speaker once again, provided that Bluetooth is enabled on the source device.

Press and hold Playback mode (2) for 2 seconds on the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth to disconnect the current device and pair the speaker with a new one.


Removable storage units (USB sticks/MicroSD cards)

Play .mp3 and .wav files from your USB sticks or microSD cards (up to 128 GB). Plug the USB stick into the USB port (10) or the SD card into the SD card slot (8). The speaker plays the contents automatically a few seconds after inserting the storage unit.

If you turn off the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth or select another playback mode, the internal memory will save the moment where you paused playback. This way, music playback will always resume from the last track you listened to.

Press Play/Pause/Calls (4) to play or pause a song. Press and hold the very same button for 2 seconds to enable or disable shuffle mode.

Turn the Volume +/Volume - (6) knob to the right or to the left to adjust the volume level according to your preferences.

Press Back (3) or Next (5) to skip to the previous or next song. Press and hold these buttons for 2 seconds to select a different folder.

The root folders and files of your removable USB sticks and microSD cards will be read in chronological order and the songs included in the folders in alphabetical order.

FM radio

To enable FM radio mode, press repeatedly Playback mode (2) until the FM radio symbol appears on screen.

Automatic tuning

To carry out an automatic search of all radio stations, press and hold Playback mode (2) for 2 seconds. At this point, your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth starts searching for radio stations and shows the saved frequencies on screen.

Once the automatic search is complete, press and hold Back (3) or Next (5) to switch between the saved radio stations. Choose the one you want to hear.

Manual tuning

If you prefer to carry out a manual search, turn the Playback mode (2) knob to the left or to the right to fine-tune the selected radio frequency. Press and hold Play/Pause/Calls (4) for 2 seconds to save changes. You will see the preset number assigned to the radio station on screen.

Important: To obtain a proper radio wave reception, we recommend plugging the USB Type-C cable.


Auxiliary audio output

To not disturb the people around you, you can plug your headphones into the 3.5 mm output (9) using a 3.5 mm mini jack audio cable.


Call control

Pairing the Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth with your smartphone via Bluetooth allows you to control calls from the speaker using the built-in Microphone (11). Press Play/Pause/Calls (4) to answer or hang up a call. To reject it, press and hold the very same button for 2 seconds.


Timer

The Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth features a timer with several time periods. This way, you can fall sleep to the music. The speaker will turn it off automatically, once the selected time period has elapsed. Press Snooze (7) several times until finding the desired time period: 30, 60, 120 or 180 minutes.


Backlight

You can adjust the display brightness. There are 3 brightness levels available. To do so, press and hold Snooze (7) for 2 seconds until reaching the desired brightness level. Select the brightness level you prefer.


Charging the battery

When the battery level is low, you will hear a sound reminding you to charge it. You will also see the battery icon flashing on screen. To charge it, plug the USB Type-C end of the provided cable into the rear USB Type-C charging port (13) of your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth. Plug the USB end of the cable into the adapter that comes with the product. At this point, the LED charge indicator (12) lights up red and the battery icon is displayed permanently on screen.

Once the charging process has been completed, the battery icon dissappears and the LED charge indicator (12) switches off.

Important:

  • Use the provided 5 V/1 A power adapter.
  • Do not leave your Clock Speaker 2 Bluetooth with an empty battery for a long time.


Warranty

Energy Sistem Technology, S.A. is liable for any lack of conformity for 36 months from the date the goods are purchased. Batteries are excluded from the 36-month warranty, having a warranty period of 24 months.

This warranty covers defects in workmanship or materials and does not cover product failures due to accidents, misuse or alteration made by an unauthorized person.

The extended 36-month warranty is valid for the European Union. For other countries please refer to your specific legislation or your local distributor.
