The new year is upon us, and some of the most anticipated video games of 2023 have now been confirmed. Titles that gamers have been waiting a long time for, and which promise to even eclipse 2022 in terms of smash hits. PlayStation, Xbox, Sony and Microsoft have all confirmed big releases for the first half of the year, as we look forward to hearing more about what's in store for the summer. Ready to find out all about them?

These are the four most anticipated video games of 2023.

Forspoken

Frey Holland, a young woman from New York, ends up trapped in Athia’s world and will have to use all her magic potential to find a way back home... without forgetting her parkour skills! A video game for PS5 that promises not to leave anyone indifferent with its landscapes, monsters and legendary scenery.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

March 2023 will see one of the most talked-about titles of the year released. After the success of Fallen Order, we follow the steps of Jedi knight Cal Kestis in a galaxy where darkness lurks in every corner. If we were already blown away by the cinematic combat system in the first instalment, then Survivor promises to leave us speechless. Available for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox X|S Series.

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Whether you enjoyed the 2015 Nintendo GameCube classic or you're new to the Resident Evil saga, this new instalment of the video game is the ultimate Survival Horror experience. It will be out in March 2023 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series and PC (Steam). I don't know about you, but we're looking forward to accompanying Leon S. Kennedy on his mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the U.S. President's daughter.

Hogwarts Legacy

It's been a long time since fans of the magical world of Harry Potter have been so excited about the release of a new video game. Hogwarts Legacy comes in up to three editions (Standard, Deluxe and Collector's), available for PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch and PC. The story takes us to the late nineteenth century –highly turbulent times for the world of magic– some one hundred years before the birth of Harry Potter. And hold tight, it looks like the Room of Requirement will be customisable!
Get your setup ready for the endless hours of gameplay that await us. Have we missed any that you are looking forward to playing? Leave us the title in the comments!
