3 apps to help you get off your phone

Artículo de blog
Increasingly, we feel our phones as a kind of extension of our bodies. Most of us could admit that we have, to a greater or lesser extent, a certain addiction to staying connected to our phones. You're probably familiar with the unusual things we do on a regular basis, such as: checking our phones for notifications even though they haven't rang, unlocking the screen out of habit, feeling like the world is ending when you leave it at home... Yes, it happens to all of us.
So, taking advantage of the fact that we're in the midst of a very family-friendly time, we want to highlight three apps that will help you, in a fun and educational way, put your phone aside and focus on having fun with your loved ones. This holiday season, we're going to try to get away from the screen a little more!

Forest

Forest is an app based on the Pomodoro method that helps you focus your attention on a single activity for 25 minutes straight without looking at your phone.
With this in mind, in Forest you can plant a beautiful virtual tree that will only grow if you hold out for half an hour without unlocking your smartphone. A bit of a challenge, isn't it? Every time you manage to go over 30 minutes without looking at your phone, the little tree will grow. Once the countdown ends, you can unlock your phone and see how a vigorous tree has been planted in your garden. The goal is to have as many trees as possible in your garden.

FaceUp

With the FaceUp app, you can measure your mobile addiction with a test, find out how much time you spend on your most used apps, and track the trend in your mobile usage, among other features.
The creators of Faceup are experts in consumer behavior, so it's an app with a serious goal of helping people overcome mobile addiction and offers very interesting data.

Pause

This app, based on the principles of Tai Chi, brings a way to focus and relax to your smartphone screen. Pause lets you slowly move your finger across the screen and, according to the app, helps you regain focus in a matter of minutes. The background music is designed to help you focus on what you're doing.

These are the most interesting apps we've found to help us get away from our phones a little more. Do you know of any that aren't on the list? We'd love to hear from you in the comments :)
