The TBH app, "To Be Honest," is barely 10 weeks old and has already become one of the most important apps of 2017. With more than 5 million downloads, TBH is considered the new WhatsApp for teenagers.
This app was designed for young people over the age of 13, and currently has more than 2 million active users.

What is the key to TBH's success?

The unique feature of this app is that you can only send positive messages, anonymously, to your friends. The goal is to provide positive feedback among users. According to its creators, the idea is "to make us feel good about ourselves, not worse."
Using predetermined questions like "Who's the friend who makes you laugh the most at school?", the app offers you four possible friends to select from. If selected, users receive a notification.
Within this context, the app is designed to improve adolescents' self-esteem and positivity.

The great digital leap: Facebook buys TBH

It has already become a viral movement in the United States. One day, its creators introduced it at a school in Georgia, and the next, it was in more than 300 schools across the country. With this success, the company's latest move has been its acquisition by Facebook. Zuckerberg's company claims that this app will fit seamlessly with its other digital offshoots, such as Instagram and WhatsApp.
The app is currently not available in Spain. Following its success in the United States and its integration with Facebook, TBH is expected to be available in the Spanish market in a few months.
