Apps to prepare for the Selectividad

Apps para preparar la Selectividad

Tomorrow begins the last Selectividad exam in History.

Students in Asturias will be the first to take the exam, starting tomorrow, Wednesday, and continuing through Friday. Students in the other Autonomous Communities will then take the exams over the next two weeks. Thus, up to 200,000 students will take the University Entrance Exams (PAU) this year for the last time in 40 years, as the system will change next year.

We know that the "dreaded Selectividad" is synonymous with nerves, sleepless nights revising, tons of books and notes, coffee pots, and linden tea...

So, if you and your friends are scheduled for exams this year, we want to send you all our encouragement. Above all, stay calm. There are no secrets: study, study, and review. We've been there before, and trust us, it won't be so bad afterward. ;)

However, we want to give you a hand and that's why, in this post, we suggest several apps that you can download to your smartphone. or tablet and that will help you when preparing for exams:

  • PAU questions :  the The European University of Madrid presents this app that allows you to prepare for your exams in a fun way, like a Trivial Pursuit game , through a series of questions and answers developed by 2nd-year Baccalaureate teachers . With Q&As, you can test your knowledge in various subjects, challenge your friends, and prepare for the exams.

  • Selectividad English : It works similarly to the previous test, but as its name suggests, it's designed to test your English proficiency. Through hundreds of multiple-choice questions, always original and exam-level, you can improve your English and test your preparation for the Selectividad exam.

  • Quimi Selectividad : an app designed to review and test your knowledge of Chemistry . Using multiple-choice questions , you can test everything you've learned: formulation, chemical elements and compounds, etc. If you don't know the answer, the app tells you so you can learn while you take the test.

  • Humi Selectividad : A sister app to the previous two, this one focuses on reviewing the contents of the Humanities area: Philosophy, History of Spain, and Spanish Language and Literature . Like the other two, it has two modes: Training, which reviews the syllabus and reinforces what you've learned , and Test, which tests your progress. If you're in the Humanities area, this is the app for you.

  • Selectividad Homework and More : developed by Santillana Publishing for reviewing Social Studies, Physics, Literature, Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry . Includes special content, videos, and tips in Spanish, English, and German.

  • Cut-off marks : This app isn't for preparing for exams, but rather for you to learn firsthand the required scores for admission to different programs. The app includes the cut-off marks for 451 degrees from 794 faculties at 48 Spanish universities .

And that's it. We hope these apps help you prepare for exams and make studying more enjoyable.
Good luck and good luck! You're almost there! ;)
