Artículo de blog
They're all over social media: photos of recipes, healthy breakfasts, tasty yet light dinners, delicious snacks and sandwiches , refreshing smoothies, ice creams and salads, fluffy cakes... We see them every day on Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or Facebook and our mouths water.

It's the 'foodie' movement , a phenomenon that emerged in the 1990s among a young, food-loving audience eager to discover new flavors and share their culinary skills. Today, with the rise of new technologies and social media, 'foodies' are omnipresent , and there are an increasing number of websites, blogs, YouTube channels, and apps that promote this love of food.

Indeed, still life photography is more fashionable than ever thanks to this passion for taking food photos and sharing them online, especially during the summer months.

The increased free time, vacations, and the freedom from responsibilities all contribute to "feeding" the relationship between foodies and technology. Indeed, this summer will see a significant increase in the number of photos shared on social media, instant messaging, and even food blogs.

What is a ' socialfoodie '?

Social foodies are food enthusiasts who share their recipes on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.

And of course, the device they use most is their smartphone . For these foodies, their mobile phone becomes as essential a tool as a knife, spoon, or fork, as it's the necessary vehicle for creating delicious content and sharing it with other passionate foodies.

Social foodies spend approximately one hour a day photographing, recording, or editing the dishes they prepare and their preparation. Furthermore, they are increasingly demanding, not only with kitchen utensils but also with the technology they need.

Therefore, when purchasing a smartphone , social foodies take these 3 aspects into account:

- High-quality camera that allows you to take photos and record HD videos even in poorly lit environments.

- Powerful processor that doesn't slow down the process of creating and editing photos and videos.

- Storage capacity that matches the size of video recipes, tutorials, and photos of your dishes.

You probably know more than one 'social foodie'. Or maybe you're one yourself. Do you love sharing photos of your recipes and dishes on social media? Can't start making that delicious ice cream or mojito without taking a photo and sending it to your friends on WhatsApp? Then there's no doubt about it: you're part of the 'foodie' movement!

Great!... But remember: don't obsess. Enjoy the food and, most of all, the company . See you in the next post! ;)
