How people laugh in other languages

Artículo de blog
It's very common to write "hahaha" when we laugh about something in online conversations or on social media. It's deeply ingrained in us, and besides, what the heck, I wish there were more "hahahas" out there. Smiling and good-humored people make us happy!

At Energy Sistem, we believe laughter is essential. That's why we wanted to explore how onomatopoeia is written in other languages. Below is a guide to how laughter is written in other languages :
Spanish : hahaha
hahaha or LOL
LOL = Laughing Out Loud
French : hahaha, LOL and MDR
MDR = mort de rire (dead of laughter)
ahahah
Korean : kekeke or kkkk
Japanese : www
Depending on how funny it is, more “w”s are added.
Greek : xaxaxa
If a Greek ever writes “xaxaxa” to you, know that they don’t mean dancing! Their “x” is pronounced the same as our “j.”
Hebrew : xà xà xà
Similar to Greek, but you're not being invited to dance in this case either.
Thai : 5555
This number is pronounced like our “ha,” hence the number 5 used to write it.
Nigerian English : LWKMD
Laugh Wan Kill Me Die = something like "I'm dying of laughter."
Icelandic : híhí, haha or hehe
Brazilian Portuguese : huehuehue or rsrsrs
