Today's post comes from our contributor @SabinaSF. It's a very interesting post, as many of you have asked us about how to sync your Energy Tower to other devices. We'd like to thank our contributor for the post and hope you find it useful.
A couple of days ago, I purchased an Energy Tower 5 Black Bluetooth . I decided on this model thanks to its versatile playback capabilities , USB drives, SD cards, and most importantly, Bluetooth connectivity. I was also struck by its design , as it looks perfect in any room in the house.
The truth is that I fell in love with it as soon as I tried it, but it was then that I had a doubt: if it has Bluetooth, in addition to synchronizing it with my tablet And my smartphone , what other devices could I connect it to ?
PC
The Bluetooth connection to my PC works great, so I can access my online radio stations and stream the sound through the tower.
TV
I wanted to go further and try it with other devices, like my TV. It's worth noting that Energy Sistem sound towers are Bluetooth receivers, and my TV isn't a Smart TV. So, in my case, I connect the tower to my TV using the mini-jack cable included in the box : I connect the cable to the tower via the line input and to my TV via the headphone input. Now I can really enjoy my movies! If your TV has Bluetooth, you'd just have to sync it to your Energy Tower via this method, and you wouldn't need to use a cable. Plus, with the latest Energy Tower 8 G2 Wood, you can even connect it via an optical input.
BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES
I also tried syncing my Energy Tower 5 Bluetooth to my Energy Headphones BT9 Bluetooth but like my TV, both products are Bluetooth receivers, neither transmits so they are not compatible with each other.
MP3 PLAYERS
If you have an MP3 player and want to listen to the songs stored on the device on your Tower, you can connect it to your Tower for two days: through its USB port or through the minijack cable , using the audio input.
OTHER DEVICES
I tried syncing the Tower with my sister's electric guitar, but the guitar uses a jack cable and the Energy Tower uses a mini-jack cable. I didn't have a jack-to-mini-jack cable, so we couldn't test it, but for an electric guitar... it's better to keep using its amp, right? I also tried connecting the guitar to an Energy Party 6, and it actually works as an electric guitar amp.
Well, these were my impressions after the first tests. I imagine more than one person has encountered the same situation, so I hope this post can help those of you who have questions. :)
