Updating the firmware on your Energy devices is very important to keep them performing at their best.
Because we at Energy want you to get the most out of your products, in this post we'll show you how to update the firmware on your Energy Sport Cam Pro and Extreme.
To do this, you just have to follow the following steps:
1.- Insert a MicroSD memory card into your Energy Sport Cam Pro and Extreme. Remember that it's recommended that it be class 6 or higher.
2. Once you've inserted the card, select the format option from your Energy Sport Cam's setup menu. You can also use your personal computer to format it with a compatible card reader and format it as FAT32.
3.- Once the card is formatted, create a folder called "SYSTEM" in the root directory of the memory card. To create the folder, use your personal computer and insert the formatted card into the reader.
4.- Insert the *.fw file into the “System” folder.
5.- Once the file is in its folder, safely remove the card.
6.- Insert the card and turn on the camera. Remember, you must turn it off before inserting it. It's important to ensure the minimum charge level for updating the firmware is 80%.
Once this process is completed, the update will be performed automatically.
