One, two, three…Low Cost Festival

Artículo de blog

Warmth, laughter, fun, and hours and hours of non-stop music are what we found at the Low Cost Festival held in Benidorm. Whether you were there or not, we want to share the moments we experienced during the three days of the festival.

On Friday at 6:30 p.m., the doors opened for the thousands of fans who had gathered expectantly at the festival entrance (which already had a sold-out sign on its first day). While you gradually entered the venue, we eagerly awaited the start of the first concert, putting the final touches on our stage, which looked so beautiful :-)

Surrounded by the presence of more than 75,000 lowers who attended the festival, we started moving our hips with PSP DJs , who were in charge of opening the day, and continued enjoying the live performances of the great bands playing on the Energy Sistem stage , such as Delorean , Veronica Falls , Super , and Delorentos . What great songs we sang and danced to!

Plus, many of you stopped by our stand to grab some of the backpacks, wristbands, and refreshment gifts we had prepared for you. What a motivation you gave us!

As the final touch to Friday night, Les Castizos, a Malaga duo unknown to some, put on a great show that lived up to the first day's closing act. Thanks to their ingenious blend of styles, combined with their characteristic spontaneity and madness, they managed to get even those who were already thinking of going home to jump.

Saturday marked the start of the second day of the festival, and we arrived early to welcome you and see the debut of the bands opening our stage. Pull my String , followed by Valencian band Wayne , pleasantly surprised us with their ability to get us dancing, even under the blazing sun.

While we were listening to these great tracks, we were capturing the best snapshots at our photocall to immortalize your time at the festival. Everyone who came could take photos with our giant tablet , win prizes, relax in our chill-out area , and even buy some of our festival-inspired Energy products to continue enjoying the music after the festival ended.

One of the highlights of the national lineup was, without a doubt, the performance by the group Delafé y las Flores Azules, who, once again, surprised us with their outpouring of good vibes and joy on the Energy Sistem stage. While we hummed some of their songs, all we could think about was our subsequent meeting with them to meet them and the winners of our Facebook contest.

As the day progressed, this second day looked exciting, especially considering how the live performances of Belle and Sebastian , Portishead and Monarchy , three of Saturday's headliners, would unfold.

For our part, we were eager for Dorian to take to the Energy Sistem stage to debut his new album and thrill us with all his hits . Then, we went to meet him (along with the winners of our Twitter contest) and discuss the great live performance he gave us.

The final day of the festival arrived, but with no less solid support for being a Sunday. We remained as strong and eager to welcome all of you who came to the Energy Zone and enjoy the last live shows of the festival.

Those in charge of providing the soundtrack to this end of the party were Zahara and Santi Balmes from Love of Lesbian with their astronomical Sunday, Fangoria as well as Polock , LA and the revelation Lisa and the Lips together with Standstill and Grises on the Energy Sistem stage.

After this brief review, we just have to share with you all the images that illustrate everything we have told you and that demonstrate how much we enjoyed this fifth anniversary of the Low Cost Festival .
