Smartphone vs. camera. Which do you prefer to capture your moments?

It's a fact: the arrival of smartphones with built-in cameras has revolutionized the way we capture everyday moments . So much so, that it's now almost unthinkable to imagine a mobile phone without a camera.

In fact, 89% of users say they use their phone to capture unexpected moments, in addition to landscapes or portraits that we would also capture with a traditional camera.

Indeed, mobile phones are gradually replacing cameras , especially the more compact ones. In the last five years, this phenomenon has increased with the trend of selfies and a whole range of accessories for smartphone photography.
Proof of this is that the phones now come equipped with wide-angle lenses for selfies or specific modes for the beach or snow, etc., which allow you to configure the camera to capture the best colors and obtain the best images depending on the location and situation.

On vacation, in everyday life, during sporadic excursions or on specific trips, the mobile phone becomes an essential gadget for capturing snapshots and immortalizing memories .

Furthermore, the consolidation of mobile devices has multiplied the number of images we take. Today, more photos are taken, and above all, they are taken with the intention of sharing them on social media or via instant messaging . Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp... all thrive on the photos their users constantly upload.

Aside from being able to take countless photos, we now have the ability to edit them on the fly , before sharing them with the rest of the world. In fact, photography apps are the second most used apps after messaging and social media: 75% of users say they have at least one app on their smartphone for editing or uploading photos, and 21% use them daily.
