YouTube recently announced the creation of this app that will allow you to watch and download videos from the platform offline . In addition to this useful feature, you can choose the quality you want to save your video in and easily share content with other users nearby. And all this without worrying about your connection!
We think it's a good initiative to save on mobile data , since we don't always have enough. But that's not the only reason they created the app. According to them, YouTube Go is the result of an anecdote they experienced in India. There, they met a young man who tried to show them his favorite YouTube video, but it wouldn't load. And that inspired them to create the app.
At the moment we don't know when it will be finally launched, but they have posted a link on their official blog so that anyone who wants to know when the application will be available can sign up: http://www.youtubego.com/signup/
