Google Assistant, your personal assistant in your pocket

You've probably encountered more than one occasion where you've needed to quickly access information from your smartphone, only to find that the response wasn't the most appropriate or direct. Starting now, Google is making these situations a little easier, and we'll show you how to activate it.
On this occasion, our colleague from the Energy Experience Store in Alicante, Víctor Fantoba, tells you the tricks you can use with the new Google Assistant to access information on your mobile phone.

You need Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher and hold down the center button on the navigation bar to bring up the assistant. Tap Activate, configure your preferences, and that's it! If you've accepted the option to invoke it by saying "Ok Google!" you won't have to press any buttons.

What can we ask or request Google Assistant?

-Sing me a song

-Tell me a joke

-Who am I?

-What's the weather like?

-I want to play

-Set the alarm for me.

- Remember me…

-Send a message to…

-Take me to…

-Call…

-Find me flights from Alicante to Paris.

And an endless number of things you'll be able to discover as you use it more and more. We'll leave it with you, but don't forget it's a machine.
