We are currently immersed in a society where new technologies are ever-present, and we use them for practically everything. Therefore, in this article, we'll explore how we can take advantage of this to make our resume (CV) more attractive to employers and thus have a better chance of being selected.
We're leaving behind those simple CV templates with no icons, no colors, etc., and an archaic and unattractive design. It's not about making it colorful and animated, but rather making it stand out from the rest. A recruiter at a company doesn't spend more than 30 seconds on each CV, so we need to stand out so they spend more time on ours.
The first thing we'll do is create our template, either ourselves or using the numerous free templates we can download (NOT Europass, only for jobs that require it or for those abroad) on the Internet. I recommend the latter, and then edit the template to your liking. An interesting website would be:

Once we have the template and completed it, we leave behind the "Phone: xxx-xxx-xxx" or the same with the address, Skype, email, etc., and add icons, since it gives a visual touch that makes it stand out and more attractive. We can do this by downloading a font (I recommend the website https://www.dafont.com/es/ ) or downloading icons you find on the Internet (I recommend https://www.freepik.es/ ). Personally, I prefer fonts, although it's a matter of taste.
